The Meteorological Agency has put Jaén, Córdoba and Sevilla on ‘orange alert’ for temperatures of 40 degrees and Huelva and Granada on ‘yellow alert’ for temperatures of 38 degrees. The alerts are in effect until 19:00 today, Friday. Yesterday in Córdoba, temperatures reached the 40 degree mark.
