Three boats carrying a total of 47 Algerian adult male migrants have so far been intercepted in the waters off Almeria. The boats were located at 05:00, 10:00 and noon on Saturday.
Police have arrested the owner of the inflatable dinghy intercepted off the Granada coast on Saturday with 60 illegal immigrants on board, the passengers including eight pregnant women and three babies. The detainee, an Algerian national, has been charged with crimes against the rights of workers.
