With the bad weather of the past few days, no surprise that the renovation work on calle El Barrio didn’t start this week either. Scheduled for four months, plus the almost inevitable delays and adjustments, they now look likely to encroach upon the start of the summer period.
The Boathouse
The Boathouse bar on the corner of calle Mérida and avenida Mediterraneo is a relatively new addition to the bar scene and is now complete with sign board. They were offering apple pie and coffee, frequently recommended, so had to give it a try. Steaming hot and delicious. Coffee and apple pie, €2.50.
