Nerja Caves Athlete wins Carrera Urbana in Málaga in record time
An impressive 17,187 people took part in the Carrera Urbana in Málaga, the race being won in record time by Abdelhadi El Mouaziz of the Cueva de Nerja Athletics Club.

Carrera Urbana Feria de Maro
The traditional run round the streets of Maro, the Carrera Urbana Feria de Maro, during the recent feria celebrations in Maro attracted a record number of participants, over 150 in total. The overall winners were Daniel Moreno and Andrea Figueroa, both members of the Cueva de Nerja-Uma athletics club.
Sunday is walking and race day
The 54th edition of the Carrera Urbana (street races) and the 26th edition of the Trofeo de Marcha (gentle stroll) will take place on Sunday, this year returning to the Balcon de Europa. The races, open to one and all, will be held throughout the morning with the popular walk setting off at midday.
