‘El Bulli’ restaurant in Spain, run by Ferran Adrià and named as the top restaurant in the world for the past four years, has slipped to number two in the latest list, the new number one being the ‘Noma’ restaurant in Copenhagen.

The halcyon days of trout egg tempura, lambs brains with sea urchins and sea grapes, popcorn clouds and chocolate sablet with verveine and hazelnut are over after world famous chef Ferran Adriá has decided to close El Bulli restaurant for good.

For the third year running, the restaurant ‘El Bulli’ in Roses, Girona, has been voted as being the best in the world.
