The fashion chain H&M will be inaugurating their new store at the El Ingenio shopping centre in Vélez-Málaga on May 30th and there are a number of discounts and gifts on offer to mark the event.
H&M to open in El Ingenio
The textile group Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) is opening four new shops in Spain in Vélez-Málaga (El Ingenio Centre), Madrid, Cuenca, and Mataró (Barcelona), creating around sixty jobs. The first to open will be in the new Castellana 200 complex in Madrid on March 7th, follwed by the rest.
Investigation into spate of fires near El Ingenio
The National Police is investigating a spate of fires around the El Ingenio commercial centre in Vélez-Málaga during the past six weeks, the last two being on Saturday.
Complaints about state of play area
Some local residents in Frigiliana have complained about the ‘poor state’ of the play area just below the honey factory El Ingenio Nuestra Señora del Carmen (El Ingenio), citing broken seats, splintering wood and loose screws and nails. They are demanding action from the Council to rectify the situation.
Cheap films…
The cinemas were packed in the El Ingenio centre on Tuesday, and no wonder. Entry to any film, except those in 3D, is currently only €1.80 on Tuesdays. The rest of the week it is normal prices.
