Fernando Alonso took Ferrari’s first win of 2011 at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, taking the lead following a pit-stop problem for Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel. Mark Webber, who was instructed to hold position by team boss Christian Horner, finished in third place.

Fernando Alonso has decided to stay at Renault for another two years, thus ending any speculation about a move to Ferrari next season.
