The Nerja Caves Foundation senior handball team took part in the Final of the Copa Delegación held in Alhaurín El Grande on Sunday. Nerja beat Club Torre del Mar 24-20. This followed a third place recently in the Liverpool International Tournament where teams from all over Europe, including from Germany, France, England, Norway took part.
Second place for Nerja Caves Handball team
The Nerja Caves Handball Team finished as runners-up in the III Nerja International Handball Tournament held at the weekend after losing 20-14 to Rein Nekar Cordoben in the grand final. The participants in the competition included a team from Liverpool in the UK and one from Medeburg in Germany.

The annual Nerja Handball Tournament will be held between May 29th and July 4th 2008.
