Iberia Express is reducing the price of flights between Málaga and Madrid by up to 73% in order to try and compete with the AVE high-speed rail service between the two cities.
Iberia Express to commence flights on Sunday
Iberia Express, the new low-cost airline and cause of numerous strikes recently, is scheduled to begin service on Sunday with flights to Palma de Mallorca, Alicante, Málaga and Sevilla.

The Board of IAG has approved the creation of a new division of Iberia, Iberia Express, to operate the short and medium haul routes of Iberia as from 2012.
