Market traders report decline in business
The Nerja market traders are complaining that since their enforced move to the new site in Almijara II, which followed a year long dispute with the Council, their trade is down by around 30% and that almost 25% of the licensed stallholders no longer bother to set up.
Market traders to keep protesting
The market traders in Nerja have obtained permission to hold protest demonstrations every Tuesday throughout September as their dispute with the Council over the new market site continues.
