Vélez-Málaga Council is taking further steps to restrict unauthorised internet access and usage during working hours and, in a few cases, completely restrict access to individuals found to be spending five hours a day on social networks, looking up travel offers or other non work-related matters.
The municipal working week
Nerja has become the second municipality in Málaga province to implement the 37.5 hour working week for municipal employees, although an aspect of ‘flexibility’ has been added.
