World numero uno Rafael Nadal claimed his fifth successive Barcelona Open title with a 6-2 7-5 win over fellow Spaniard David Ferrer. Nadal has only lost four times on clay courts since 2005 and is the overwhelming favourite to retain the French Open title in Paris next month.
