All the plant boxes in Maro have been replanted with new blooms by the Parks and Gardens Department of Nerja Council as part of the ongoing beautification process. The 150 plant boxes in calle San Miguel and Plaza de Maro are now home to geraniums.
New plants for avenida Mediterraneo
Both sides of Avenida Mediterraneo now have new plants, Bottle Brush I believe, with a few flowers already in bloom. The trees can grow up to seven metres tall.
New plants for the Balcón de Europa
The flower beds along both sides of the Balcón de Europa walkway have been the recipients of a variety of new plants and shrubs.
