The Council has signed an agreement with three nursery schools in Nerja with the intention of increasing from 20 to 30 the number of subsidised places available to help unemployed parents of young children.

The application period is open for unemployed parents, both mothers and fathers this year, wishing to submit requests for financial assistance for nursery school places for the upcoming academic year.

The Council is continuing with the Plan for Municipal Aid to Unemployed Families for Nursery School Places for the academic year 2013/2014, but this time it will be not only unemployed mothers who can benefit, but also fathers.
