A 19 year old market worker in Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo is in hospital after losing all the fingers on one hand following an accident with a mincing machine. The accident occurred at around 08:30 yesterday when the youth was preparing meat for the local food market.

A 21 year old Rumanian farm worker has died after his tractor overturned, trapping him under the vehicle.
