A jury of renowned amateur and professional photographers has made its choices for the II Photographic Competition organised by the Nerja Photo Club.

Macarena Sabio has been acclaimed winner of the fourth edition of the ‘Las Protegidas en imágenes’ photographic contest organised by the Association of Residents of Las Protegidas.
III Photo Competition ‘Las Protegidas en Imágenes’
The third photo competition ‘Las Protegidas en Imágenes’ will open on May 6th for entries from both amateur and professional photographers, with prizes of €80, €50 and €30 for the best three works.
Valentine’s Day Photo Competition
The Department of Youth has organised a Valentine’s Day Photo Contest with the theme being kisses of love or friendship. The Competition is open to anyone aged between 14 years and 35 years and the winner will receive a meal for two at a local restaurant.
Results of the Christmas Photo Competition
Julio Jimena Fernández, with a work entitled “Anunciando la Navidad”, was declared the winner of the Christmas photo competition organised by the Department of Youth, collecting €250 for his efforts.

The Department of Equality has presented the prizes for the recent photographic competition. First prize went to Lola Quintana Rodríguez for “Cerca de la Meta”, second prize to Sergio Reyes Pérez for “Trabajo Duro” and third prize to Graig Pyatt for “Hockey a la Igualdad” .
