The deputy spokesman for the PSOE in Nerja, Luis Peña, has asked the Councillor for Commerce, Jonathan Méndez (PP), to resign his post after he was made president of the AEN, the Employers Association of Nerja.
PSOE demand resignation of Torrox Mayor
The secretary general of the PSOE in Torrox, Francisco Muñoz, has demanded the resignation of the mayor of the town, Antonia Claros (IU), and Councillor for Citizen Security, Manuel Palomas (PP), following the farcical situation with the Local Police force which led to a private security company having to be hired to guard the Police Headquarters.

The Councillor for Sports, Andrés Márquez (PP), yesterday called for the resignation of the IU spokesman, Manuel Valero.
