You may know the concept from the telly but there is a Man v Food contest at the Saloon in avenida Castilla Perez on July 23rd. Anyone wishing to enter should pop down there and register.
A mosey on down to the Saloon
For a change, we decided to try the food at the American style Saloon in avenida Castilla Perez. It is a large bar/restaurant, serves Budweiser on draught and has a small street terrace, which is where we plonked ourselves down.
Saloon opens
The new ‘Saloon‘ on avenida Castilla Perez, Nerja, opposite El Bosque, is now open. Very large, has a TV screen and a few tables on the street. Nice wooden facade.
A Saloon perhaps?…
If the sign being carried surreptitiously into the premises at lunchtime is anything to go by, the new establishment opposite El Bosque in avenida Castilla Perez (formerly Brazilian, Indian and Chinese restaurants at one time or another) is going to be a Saloon. Could be nice and different if this is the case.
