Colmenar has a new fitness park for senior citizens in the Lomas de Olivar area of the town. Parque de los Abuelos, as it is called, has seven exercise machines and meets all the safety requirements such as a rubber floor surface and access for the disabled.

Christmas lunch for Senior Citizens
The traditional Christmas lunch for the Senior Citizens of Nerja will take place on Tuesday December 23rd at the Restaurante Cuevas de Nerja. The annual lunch is organised by the Council for Social Services. Last year, 525 people attended the lunch.
