€3,000 fine for being topless at Almeria feria

Almeria Council has approved a fine of €3,000 for anyone attending the feria, which starts in eighteen days, topless. The idea is to discourage people from having a few beers while soaking up the sun and then heading to the daytime feria and has been introduced on the grounds of hygiene and aesthetics.

Model’s chest ‘of public interest’

In 2007, ‘¡Qué me dices!’ magazine published a picture taken on a beach in Huelva in which former model Nati Abascal was seen topless. Abascal sued the publication, demanding €300,000 in compensation.
