UGT-A being asked to return €15.3 million

If it’s not one corruption scandal it’s another these days. The Junta de Andalucia is asking the UGT-A union to return €15.3 million relating to alleged false invoicing.

Axing of unemployment subsidy criticised

The secretary general of the UGT-A, Manuel Pastrana, has labelled Prime Minister Zapatero’s decision to axe the €462 subsidy to unemployed people not receiving benefits as ‘a serious error’ which will leave hundreds of thousands in dire straits.
