The National Police in Córdoba have arrested a 47 year old man on suspicion of robbery with violence and intimidation at a pizzeria in Campo la Verdad.
The robber, 47 year old J.C.B., entered the pizzeria armed with a knife and began making threats to customers and demanding that they hand over their belongings.
Police located the suspected robber in Torre de la Calahorra. Noticing the police presence, J.C.B. tried to throw the knife into the river. The police proceeded to verify his identity and then made the arrest.
J.C.B. has 28 prior arrests for similar offences.
