Bamboo is located on the edge of Plaza Fabrica de los Cangrejos, at the western end of Nerja, and the terrace offers a great view of the sea and Torrecilla beach.
The bar has a large, sunny terrace with suitable shade for when it gets really hot.
Having lived in Nerja for 5 years this is one of my favourite places. Very friendly and attentive staff and the prices are very resonable for the quantity and quality. Sitting at an inside window table and overlooking the promenade and sea has the feeling of being on a cruise liner. The owner/manager is always on hand and very welcoming to his diners. During the warm sunny days it is also a delight to sit at one of the outside tables. My lady companion who is vegetarian loves their tropical salad and I find that the grilled sole is always cooked to perfection.
A favourite. Spacious, comfortable and with lovely views of the sparkling sea on hot and sunny days. Can be a bit of a sun-trap so make use of the large umbrellas and shade. A large and varied menu and reasonably priced given the prime position occupied and the service is good and friendly. Out of season you can shelter in the covered terrace and the patio heaters will keep you nice and toasty on chilly nights. Well worth a visit.
We stumbled across Bamboo one day and liked it so much we had a party there the day after our wedding last year. The food is really nice and fine big portions. The views out over the sea are a bonus!
We found this an ideal place for a light meal with no frills. Plenty of choice and very reasonable prices. The white wines are quite drinkable as well. The view from the dining area is brilliant with the sea crashing on rocks only a few metres away. Attentive staff with a good sense of humour.
The Bamboo Bar is a lovely location to watch the setting sun – nice big terrace and friendly staff. Beautiful views of Torrecilla Beach. Slight pigeon problem but they don’t do any harm!
