Very nice little bar with a large sunny terrace, ideal for watching the world go by. Fairly quiet area, certainly for traffic, so great place if you’ve got kids.
A cup of coffee will only set you back €1.10 (April 2010), so very reasonably priced. A very popular haunt, particularly in the summer, with a good selection of meals.
We always visit Bar Joanny whenever we are in Nerja. The food is sooooooooooo reasonably priced and sooooooooooo delicious – something to suit everyone. The staff are friendly and very efficient. Can’t wait until May to visit again!

Really nice place to eat, lots of tables outside, great for people watching!! Lovely food, and as already said, great value for money. Great liquor coffees!!
Been dropping into Joanny for 10 years now – great food at reasonable prices, very friendly staff. All in all a lovely vibe. Back in September – can’t wait.
Quite simply the best salads in Nerja if not the whole of Spain. The tropical salad with all the fruit and king prawns is a must. Roll on July
0ur first meal in Nerja is always at Joannys the chips are to die for. Lovely friendly and pleasant staff. If you go to Nerja do try it you won’t be disappointed. Prices very very reasonable.
Always our first port of call when we arrive. Great to sit in the square with a cold beer, a nice salad or omelette and watch the locals go by ont heir daily business, away from the tourists.
