At a meeting with new board of the charitable organisation Taller de la Amistad, the mayor has reiterated his commitment to helping the organisation with the construction of a second floor on their building.
The construction of the second floor is a legal requirement to house an Early Learning Centre but the Junta de Andalucia has so far been unwilling to provide the necessary financing or pay its outstanding debts to the charity, hence the continued support of the Nerja Municipal Council.
