Quite some rain on Saturday and in drier moments, quite a few cars being towed in preparation for the procession.
One man did manage to get back just in time and move his car before it, too, was hauled away. He was apologetic and said he thought the rain would cause the procession to be cancelled. He was informed that the temporary parking restrictions are enforced regardless of whether or not the event goes ahead as planned.
On this occasion there was a respite in the weather and the procession went ahead.
