A boat carrying ten migrants was intercepted on Sunday about sixty miles off Nerja.
At around 13:30 the Spanish authorities received notification from Morocco that a boat carrying ten people had set off for Spain and a plane and a rescue vessel were mobilised.
The migrant boat was finally located about 60 miles off the Nerja coast.
