A 51-year-old man was stabbed to death in the early hours of Sunday morning in Málaga and police have arrested two people, a man and a woman, in connection with the incident.
At around 01:55 on Sunday morning neighbours reported seeing a man, who had suffered serious injuries, in the doorway of his home on the fifth floor of a building in Plaza Biznaga. Medics arrived on the scene along with police officers but they could do nothing to save the life of the man.
The detainees are a man and woman aged 34 and 35 years respectively, one of whom is the alleged perpetrator of the stabbing.
The motive for the attack is thought to be either a sentimental attachment or a case of infidelity. The investigation remains open.
