Twenty patients had to be evacuated in the early hours of this morning from the second floor of the San Cecilio hospital in Granada following a fire originating in one of the staff rooms.
The fire began at 02:30 and twenty patients were evacuated from a second floor wing as a precautionary measure due to the spread of smoke.
No-one was injured in the incident and the patients were able to return to the ward at around 09:00.
