National Police in Vélez-Málaga have arrested eight people, two of them minors, for the alleged crimes of belonging to a criminal gang and cocaine trafficking.
Six of the detainees, two sisters, the daughter of one of the sisters and the partners of all three, have been remanded in custody.
The investigation, which began in September 2014, led to raids on two homes where 33 grams of cocaine, 60 grams of marijuana and various precision scales and other drug-related paraphernalia were seized.
The gang were operating in the La Gloria district of Vélez-Málaga.
