Percy and Simpson started the medal race in second place and had to battle all the way with Sweden, just pipping them on the line.

Wimbledon champion Rafael Nadal is now Olympic champion after beating Chile’s Fernando Gonzalez 6-3 7-6 6-3 to win the men’s tennis gold.
It is Spain’s first ever gold in tennis and Nadal is the first player ranked in the top five to win the title.
