The provincial Post Office has installed three post boxes in calle Del Mar, calle Doctor Fleming and between Plaza de la Axarquia and calle San Andrés in Torre del Mar, which have caused a bit of a problem.
The Post Office, presumably out to save a few quid, bought the post boxes second hand from Madrid. So what’s wrong with being economical? Nothing really, highly commendable. Except the instructions on the boxes are all in Catalan!
Odd that no-one managed to notice this ‘slight error’ before installing them. The Post Office are apologetic for the mistake and are going to change the texts to Spanish.
