The Guardia Civil have detained the fourteen year old son of a woman found shot dead at her home in Cortes de Baza, Granada province.
The body of the woman, who had been shot in the head, was found at around 09:00 yesterday morning. The murder weapon is thought to be one of a number of shotguns kept in the house by the woman’s husband who is also being questioned about the incident.
The Council of Cortes de Baza is to convene a special plenary session to declare three days of official mourning for the victim, a native of the municipality.
