The mobile ITV vehicle testing unit for mopeds and scooters will be in Nerja at the end of the month, specifically on March 25th, 26th and 27th.
As the new law relating to scooters and ITV testing is now being enforced, the mobile inspection unit will be in Nerja at the end of the month. The location is the Sunday market site in Almijara and the times are from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 17:15. All scooters and moped over three years old now require an ITV in accordance with Royal Decree 711/2006. Due for testing this month are all those whose matriculation ends in the numbers 4 and 5.
In the meantime, the police are out and about in town checking scooters and mopeds for valid ITV’s. The penalty for not having one is a fine of €150.
