A 60 year old worker died in Viator, Almería, after being run over by a lorry on which he was working.
The man had gone to the company Transportes Carrión, located near the sports complex, to collect a lorry. He was not an employee of Transportes Carrión but from another company and was responsible for maintaining the vehicle.
While he was busy changing the plates on the lorry, a driver got into the cab and started the vehicle, unaware of the presence of anyone else and began to drive off. The workman was run over and died at the scene.
