The final death toll on the roads of Spain over the Semana Santa holiday period was 63, with a further 24 people seriously injured. Yesterday, Easter Monday, was a holiday in Cataluña, Comunidad Valenciana, Baleares, Navarra, País Vasco and La Rioja and 7 people lost their lives in these areas. The figure of 63 is 40% down on the same period last year.
