A total of nine people, all Russian nationals, have so far been arrested in Motril in connection with prostitution and illegal immigration.
The Brigada de Extranjería y Documentación (Foreign or Aliens police), which forms part of the National Police, made the arrests as part of a periodic and ongoing investigation into prostitution and illegal immigration in the coastal town. Four Russian women are already awaiting repatriation.
