A 35 year old Madrid woman is in intensive care after being run over by her partner in yet another case of domestic violence.
The woman, initials PCF, was walking with her seven month old baby in La Rinconada when she was hit by a car allegedly driven by her partner. An ambulance unit from La Rinconada carried out on the spot treatment before moving them both to the local clinic.
The woman is now in the intensive care unit at Virgen Macarena hospital where her condition is described as serious but stable. The baby is under observation but is not thought to be in any danger.
The partner of the injured woman has been arrested by the The Guardia Civil as the alleged perpetrator of the crime of attempted murder.
