Today sees the start of a five day strike by around 87,000 construction workers in Sevilla province.
The CCO and UGT Trades Unions have called the strike after talks with the employer Geasco broke down. The protest is against the intensive work days during the summer months of June, July and August when the Unions believe the intense heat is detrimental to health.
