Local Council and Nerja Caves Foundation officials will, once again, not be attending the official presentation of the Festivales de la Cueva de Nerja (Nerja Caves Festival) being held today.
Local officials will once again not be attending the official presentation of the Festivales de la Cueva de Nerja as it is actually being held in Málaga city. The presentation also includes the unveiling of the poster for the Festivales de Música y Danza de la Cueva de Nerja.
All concerned believe that, as the event relates to the Nerja Caves, any such official presentation should properly take place in the town of Nerja itself and not in Málaga. For this reason they will not be attending the function and have written a joint letter to the authorities in Málaga expressing their displeasure.
