Two people, one Spanish and one British, were arrested at Málaga airport in two separate incidents but both involving drugs.
On Monday, a ‘suspicious’ character on his way to Barcelona was stopped by Guardia Civil officers. When they asked for identification, the man became nervous and this prompted the officers to investigate further. They found 579 grams of hashish about his person.
On Wednesday, a 44 year old man from Portsmouth was stopped as he was about to pass the security check to catch his flight to Gatwick. He was found to have 490 grams of hashish hidden in his groin area.
