Refuse disposal operatives in San Fernando, Cádiz, have temporarily called off their strike until after the Cádiz Feria.
The workers at Urbaser, the company responsible for refuse collection in San Fernando, have called off their strike temporarily until after feria. The strike began last Wednesday after pay talks broke down.
The Urbaser employees have been carrying out minimal duties since Wednesday but tons of rubbish are already cluttering the streets. The Junta de Andalucía is carrying out daily health checks in the area in order to prevent any problems occurring as a result of the industrial action.
