A British woman suffered serious injuries this morning after her husband allegedly attacked her with a cricket bat.
The woman staggered from their home in the centre of Nerja this morning, bleeding and badly injured, in search of help.
Her husband, also British, has been arrested as the alleged perpetrator of the attack. The couple have apparently lived in Nerja for about three years and there have never been reports of violence.
