There was tension amongst the 158 passengers on board Spanair flight JK6621 yesterday after a ‘technical problem’ forced it to turn back after only 15 minutes in the air.
The Spanair plane, which was being chartered by Swiftair, was en route from Granada to Barcelona when it was forced to turn back after only fifteen minutes in the air. The plane was already an hour late leaving Granada airport.
Some of the passengers were transferred to different flights but the majority apparently requested a refund of the ticket price and said they would be continuing their journey with a different airline.
