The pound has rallied a bit, most of the local ‘no commission’ exchange places offering 1.23 for cheques and 1.22 for notes. The dollar is doing even better, up to 0.70 today. No sign of the Poo Police anywhere today, even though the clampdown is supposed to have started. Early days.
What is it with phones companies and fruits? Orange, Apple, Blackberry, Peach (phone cards)…The new Blackberry phone, the Blackberry Bold, is going to be available through Vodafone, probably priced around €300. The Apple iPhone is the one everyone talks about, but the Blackberry is catching up in all ways and it has a qwerty keyboard instead of touch sensitive numbers or images, wifi and a whole load of interesting features.
