A five year old boy attacked by a Rottweiler in Alhaurin de la Torre is in a serious, but stable condition although still requiring mechanical ventilation.
The attack occurred on Saturday evening at the boy’s home in urbanisation La Alquería in Alhaurin de la Torre. The Rottweiler, possibly accompanied by another dog, apparently rushed at the boy and caused severe injuries to his face, neck, legs and back.
It was the father of the boy who noticed the attack and managed to separate the dogs from his son. The boy was then transferred to the Hospital Materno Infantil where the full extent of his injuries were then discovered.
