Work starts on improving sewage system in Benalmádena Pueblo

Work has started in Benalmádena Pueblo to improve and modernise the sewage system and is expected to be finished in December 2008.

The works, with a budget of €247,751, affect calles Rosa, Lirio and Orquídea, all offshoots of avenida Juan Luis Peralta, one of the main roads in the town.

As well as new, higher capacity storm drains and integration of the existing sewage system in the area, the supply of fresh water is also set to be improved through the installation of new pipes.
