Guardia Civil and Maritime Rescue officers have this morning intercepted a small boat carrying 32 illegal immigrants, including a woman and her baby, near the island of Lanzarote.
The boat was spotted by a fishing vessel about three miles from Teguise, on the northeastern coast, and was then intercepted by the authorities and towed to the port of Arrecife. All on board, including the baby, are said to be in good health.
