A meeting is planned for today between the Council and the Market Traders Association as the dispute continues.
Protesters once again gathered outside the Town Hall yesterday as Nerja suffered its fifteenth week without a Tuesday market.
The head of the Market Traders Association (AVAM), Juan Rojas, is thought to be preparing a proposal whereby the market moves back to the central El Chaparil area but does not interfere with local residents.
