A 23 year old man has agreed to pay €30,000 to his ex-girlfriend after he posted pornographic images of her on the internet. By agreeing to pay the compensation, he avoids a trial in which the prosecution was demanding a prison term of four years and three months and compensation of €6,000.
The couple were together for three years and during that time they made numerous photos and videos of their intimate moments, all by mutual consent. However, after they split up, the man posted some of the images on the internet in an act of revenge when he found out the girl had started a new relationship.
The girl has now dropped the charges and the images have been removed from the internet.
